National Hot Breakfast Month
The entire month of
February is dedicated to National Hot Breakfast Month. Breakfast is one of the
important meals to eat early in the morning especially if it has fiber and vitamins.
It should not be a boring meal or a rushed meal to begin the day. Instead, breakfast
should be consumed with the whole family and watch a good television show if
you can with the kids. You can have plain oatmeal.
You can have your
family add their favorite fruit sliced into small pieces on top of the oatmeal.
Then, you can have granola, walnuts, or almonds mixed with the fruit to go with
the oatmeal. Another alternative to oatmeal is cream of wheat or hot cereal. You
can also alternate your oatmeal every few days and have a variety of breakfast
meals for yourself and for your family. Below are resources for making hot
breakfast meals for your family.
