Taking Care of Your Heart (National Heart Month)
The entire month of February is dedicated to taking care of your heart. One way is by walking which reduces your stress and improves your health. Walking is considered a low impact exercise because it raises your heart rate which boosts your energy. The second way is learning how to reduce your stress so that your heart can function properly. The third way is by getting plenty of rest, exercise, and eating low-fat meals to strengthen the health of your heart.
Adding psyllium fiber can help lower the risk of heart disease. Psyllium fiber regulates cholesterol and sugar levels. This fiber is found in cereals, fiber bars, powder, and capsules. Psyllium is a prebiotic and it is absorbed with plenty of water. Also, it helps you to lose weight.
