Love Your Liver Awareness Month (January)
Taking care of your liver takes discipline from abstaining from alcoholic beverages and desserts. Limiting processed foods and sugar is challenging with a busy schedule. However, finding time to exercise helps your liver to reduce accumulated fat. Adding more nuts, berries, broccoli, fish, and other foods will keep your liver healthy. Do not share the same razor and needles with your partner, relatives, or friends.
This month pledge to eat healthier, exercise more or limit alcoholic beverages. Reduce or eliminate red meat from your meals. Donate to the liver foundation. Wear something green to bring awareness of liver diseases. Here are resources about taking care of your liver.
