National Poetry Month

Since 1996, National Poetry Month was introduced to bring awareness and appreciation for poetry. National Poetry Month is celebrated every year in the month of April. One way to celebrate National Poetry Month is by reading poetry at your local library. Another way is by learning how to write different poetry styles. In addition, you can listen to audio recordings of people reciting poetry.
