Easy Yoga Poses on the Floor



These easy yoga poses on the floor can help strengthen your back, arms, and legs. A few of these yoga poses might seem a challenge at first. The Locust pose will help you be more flexible and will help with your posture. It strengthens your back, arms, and legs. It might not be an easy task to do at first. However, with plenty of practice, the locust pose might be one of your favorite yoga poses.

To do the locust pose, you lay down on the floor and keep your arms on the side while you lift your legs. You can also keep the palms of your hands on the floor while you lift your legs up in the air. There are different variations to do the locust yoga pose, just find a pose that you feel comfortable. Some Yoga poses will put less pressure on your back such as the Sphinx pose.

The Sphinx pose also strengthens your back, strengthens your abdomen muscles, and your glutes. This yoga pose will help you feel relaxed.  Simply slide your elbows to the side and keep your legs on the floor. Also, a few of these floor yoga poses will help you prepare for other yoga poses. For example, the Cobra pose can be done after the locust pose.

The Cobra pose aligns your spine and it strengthens your abdominal muscles. Lay on your stomach and slowly raise your chest and stomach while you keep your arms and legs on the floor. This pose also strengthens your legs. All these yoga poses will give you energy and will help your posture.
