Handmade Pearl Washer Earrings
Earrings make good conversation starters, a fashion statement, and show your personality. In addition, earrings make a great gift especially for a birthday or for Christmas. Nonetheless, making earrings are fun and keep you busy for a few minutes at home. Today, I have created the last jewelry tutorial for this month of June which are pearl earrings with a washer. Here are the instructions for making these handmade pearl washer earrings.
Materials:
Earring Hooks
Earring Head Pins
2 Wooden Washers
Jewelry Pliers
Beading String Wire
Different sizes of Pearls
2 Jump rings
Acrylic paint and paintbrushes
Scissors
High gloss topcoat
First, insert one jump ring onto an earring hook with a pair of jewelry Pliers. Second, repeat the same step for the second earring hook. Third, insert the headpins to the earring hooks. Fourth, insert the pearls onto the earring headpins. Fifth, bend the earring headpins with the pearls.
After that paint two wooden washers on both sides. Wait for the wooden washers to get dry. Then, paint a high gloss topcoat onto the washers. Once again, wait for the washers to dry. Next, use beading string wire and tie several knots onto the washers.
Insert the pearls on each side of the beading wire. Then, insert the beading wire onto one side of the earring headpin. Tie several knots. Make sure the knots are tight. Next, trim the edges. Repeat the same steps for the second earring.
Using the same technique, you can make several earrings with wooden washers and beads. Make sure the knots and pearls are tight on the earring hooks. Also, make sure you have enough pearls or beads to make the earrings. Before you trim the beading wire, make sure it is the right length for your dangling earrings. Nonetheless, have a good time making these washer earrings with pearls.
