DIY Hand Painted Lotion & Soap Dispenser
Ever since the pandemic
began, I got a chance to do more painting projects.
Painting has always been one of my favorite hobbies. Today’s painting tutorial
is about recycling soap dispensers and converting them into lotion dispensers. Now,
is the best time to organize your kitchen and bathroom sinks with colorful dispensers.
One dispenser for soap and one dispenser for lotion are must-have items to have
in your kitchen or in your bathroom.
This project can be
done at any time of the year. Also, it can be a fun family project especially if
your kids love to paint. Your kids will have fun painting their own soap and
lotion dispensers for their bathrooms. Nonetheless, you can paint anything such
as flowers, geometric shapes, or anything that comes to mind. Here is the tutorial for painting these soap
and lotion dispensers.
Materials:
Acrylic paint (Different
Colors)
Paintbrushes
Empty Clear Dispensers
Your favorite liquid Soap
Your favorite Lotion
Wet Towels and Dry Towels
Letter Stencils
(Optional)
Clear Topcoat of Paint
Glitter
First, wash the
dispensers and let it air dry. Second, using a stencil or write the words “lotion”
and “soap” on each dispenser. Third, paint one dispenser individually by
painting different colored flowers. Fourth, paint flowers around the entire
dispenser. Once the paint is dry, continue painting the second dispenser for
the lotion.
Then, paint green
leaves on one of the flower dispensers. In the second dispenser, add glitter to
the letters of the word “Soap”. Wait for everything to dry. Last, put a clear
topcoat of paint. After the bottles are dry, you can fill the dispensers with
soap and with lotion. Have fun displaying your new soap and lotion dispensers
in your kitchen and in your bathroom.
