Paprika & Lime Shrimp and Crackers Appetizer


Consuming shrimp has so many health benefits for your bones, heart, and eye health. Shrimp has vitamins such as vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and vitamin A. Also, it has minerals such as iron, iodine, phosphorus, potassium, and calcium. In addition, shrimp is loaded with fatty acids such as Omega 3 and Omega 6. It has antioxidants and protein. Consuming seafood such as shrimp will boost your thyroid and brain health.

Looking for an easy and simple appetizer to serve to your guests? This basic shrimp recipe doesn't take that much time to make. Using a few ingredients and saltine crackers, your guests will be so impressed.  Before making this appetizer make sure your guests aren't allergic to shrimp. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients

Chile and Lime Seasoning Blend
Lemon and Pepper Seasoning
Ground Paprika
1 package of Shrimp 
2 Limes
1/2 of a white or yellow onion
1/2 of a Green Bell Pepper
Saltine Crackers

First wash, peel, and remove the vein of each shrimp including the tail end of the shrimp. Second, wash one lime and slice the lime in half. Third, squeeze a small amount of the lime juice to each shrimp.  Then add the Lemon and Pepper seasoning, Ground Paprika, and Chile and Lime seasoning blend onto the shrimp. After that wash and rinse one green bell pepper and remove the seeds. 

Next, chop the bell pepper in half. Use one half of the bell pepper and slice the pepper in small pieces. Save the other half of the bell pepper in the fridge. Do the same procedure with one white or yellow onion. Peel one onion and chop the onion in half. Save the other half of the onion in the fridge. Slice half of an onion in small pieces.  


In one skillet, add the bell peppers and onions including the shrimp. Then cook everything in the water. Wash one lime and slice the lime in several slices. Once the shrimp is ready, serve the shrimp and bell peppers with onions onto saltine crackers. On one side of the plate, add a few slices of lime. This appetizer serves 4 people. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
