Pink Shirt Day 2022
Pink Shirt Day is a day to bring awareness against bullying. On the last Wednesday of February, you can wear a pink shirt or a pink item to school, college, or to work. National Pink Day began in Canada when a student was bullied for wearing a pink t-shirt to school. Today, bullying continues in school, work, and online. Bullying is caused by low self-esteem, lack of attention, and the need to be important.
A bullied child is left with emotional distress and with difficulties communicating. Also, might not get enough sleep or eat enough. Therefore, bullying should not be tolerated in school and work. By participating in Pink Shirt Day and bullying prevention programs, future generations will enjoy being in school or work. Donate to Pink Shirt Day or participate in a fundraiser.
You might want to purchase a pink shirt from the Pink Shirt Day store online. Additionally, you can make or wear a pink bracelet. Last, you can participate in an anti-bullying campaign online. The color pink means kindness, compassion, and love. Below are links to more information about Pink Shirt Day.
