Meditation for Trapped Emotions
Trapped emotions are
emotions that can not be released when an event or a trauma occurs. Often,
those trapped emotions makes a person feel anxious, sad, and not willing to receive
love from loved ones. Also, it might lead to unexplained pain, digestive
issues, and an undiagnosed medical condition. When this happens, it is best to
practice meditation and to seek professional help from a therapist. Movement
meditation can release the tension and the pain that is caused by trapped
emotions.
For example, dancing in
slow movement improves your mood and your overall health. It alleviates any ailments
your body had, and it releases hidden emotions. Sometimes, those hidden
emotions will surprise you, make you laugh, or cry when it is released. Another
way is by expressing yourself through writing or by making art to express those
emotions that can not be expressed through speech. Last, by doing Qigong which uses
meditation, breathing, and body postures will help release stuck emotions. Here
are links to resources about trapped emotions and about Qigong.
