DIY Embroidered Baseball Cap

Embroidered baseball caps are extremely popular since the 1980’s. Embroidering baseball caps makes a great embroidery project as a beginner. All you will need is embroidery thread, embroidery needle, and a word stencil to embroider a word onto your baseball cap. In the example, the word love was embroidered onto the baseball cap. Here are the instructions for embroidering this baseball cap.

Materials:

Word stencil from Suncatcher Studio

Embroidery thread

Embroidery needle

1 Baseball cap

Washable fabric marker

Scissors

Begin by printing out a word stencil from the Suncatcher Studio. After that cut out the word stencil and place it onto the baseball cap. Next, trace the letters onto the baseball cap with the washable fabric marker. Start embroidering the first letter and continue embroidering all the letters onto the baseball cap. Then, repeat the same steps until the letters are nice and thick.

Draw a heart on top of one of the letters. Embroider the heart. Last, fill in the inside of the heart. Trim the excess threads on the inside of the baseball cap. Now, your embroidered cap is ready to wear, or it can be a gift.
