November 14th is dedicated to World Diabetes Day. According to CDC,  one out of three has prediabetes. Also, one out of ten has diabetes.  Since the pandemic, more people are getting diagnosed with diabetes. Many people are not aware of having diabetes until they do a blood test.

More people worldwide are being diagnosed with diabetes. The World Health Organization and the International Diabetes Federation founded World Diabetes Day in 1991. The blue circle symbolizes Diabetes Awareness and unity worldwide. You can support the diabetes organization by donating or joining a walking marathon. In the past, people used to wear a gray or blue ribbon with a red dot for diabetes awareness.

Also, you can join a cycling marathon. You can wear a blue t-shirt for diabetes awareness. Post diabetes awareness information on social media. Get tested for diabetes.  Here are more resources about diabetes.
