Teas for the Winter Season
During
the winter season, my favorite hot drink is tea. Selecting winter teas can make
you undecided. Before selecting your hot teas, keep in mind the variety of
flavors that you like. Teas come in many blends such as spicy, sweet, herbal,
citrus, sweet fruits, floral, and a combination of flavors. Also, select teas
that are beneficial for your digestion, immune system, and for your throat.
It is a clever
idea to have many types of teas for your overall health. In the winter season,
you might want to taste lemon and ginger tea for a sore throat. It also helps
the digestive system. This spicy tea tickles your throat and has a nice aroma.
It tastes good with a little bit of honey.
Another tea that
is good for your throat is green tea with honey. Chai tea, honey tea, and black
tea can also help with a sore throat. Although these teas do not get rid of the
soreness; It does hydrate the throat making you feel less thirsty. Spearmint,
peppermint, and mint teas are helpful for your sore throat. As well as helping
your digestive system.
Chamomile tea is
a great tea to have throughout the year. If you feel tired doing your work, you
might want to try sweet tangerine tea. Some teas make you feel alert so you can
focus more. Other tea is peach ginger turmeric tea, vanilla, and raspberry. Cinnamon
tea and black tea also make you feel more awake to do your work.
No matter what
tea you select, make sure you like the flavors of the tea. Always read the
ingredients of the tea boxes especially if you are allergic to some of the
herbs, spices, and flowers. Always consult with your primary doctor before
consuming herbal teas. Some teas might interact with medications such as
valerian root tea, licorice tea, and elderberry. Here are websites with more
