What is Blogmas?
Blogmas is another
blogging challenge that is done throughout the entire month of December. This
blogging challenge can be fun, frustrating, and exciting all at the same time.
During this challenge, you can write about Christmas topics or other winter
topics that you might want to learn more about. You can set up a schedule to
write for one hour per day on your blog. There is only one blog post per day
during Blogmas.
Selecting topics during
this challenge is what I find most difficult, especially during this busy time
of the year. Yet, you can use writing prompts for writing during the holiday
season. Once you have selected the subjects for your blog posts, it becomes
easier to write every day. However, you can also plan your subject matter ahead
of time. Nonetheless, you can make a bullet list of thirty-one topics of what you
want to write for Blogmas.
Sometimes you might need to take a break from writing which might be a good thing. Once you are ready to write in your blog, make sure you like your chosen topic. Next, always re-read what you wrote. Always remain motivated with your writing. Writing on your blog can be exciting because it opens up new concepts for your future blog post.
Another reason that this
challenge might be frustrating is finding time to write during the preparations
for the holidays. Therefore, you might want to add guest posts or other topics
that you find easier to write during this month. Nevertheless, Blogmas is a
great writing challenge that makes you feel creative and practice your writing
skills. I will try my best to write and participate in Blogmas this year. Here
are website links with ideas to write during Blogmas month.
