I'm Just Me Because Month & Tips to Celebrate
Since
2016, I am Just Me Because Month is celebrated every year in October. Using the
hashtag, I am Just Me Because on social media can bring awareness of everyone's
individuality and uniqueness. It also helps to bring acceptance, respect, and a
better understanding of every individual's attributes. Write down I am Just Me
Because in your journal to help you practice self-appreciation,
self-acceptance, and for developing your self-confidence. Find your self-worth
and ignore bad comments.
I Am Just Me
Because is a movement to help you celebrate yourself with joy, authenticity,
and by learning from others. Find a place where you can volunteer and spread
positivity to others. Participate in a volunteer program to help others, to
help animals, or for cleaning beaches. By volunteering you can get to know
yourself and can find joy in what you do. However, know your boundaries and
your limits when it comes to volunteering your time.
Sometimes
volunteering for too many organizations can make you have burn-out. Practice
self-improvement, self-discovery, and self-knowledge to make you develop your
skills. Use journal prompts, positive affirmations, or write down what makes
you be unique in a list. Make a picture frame that expresses yourself and your
style. Make a board, a poster, or a t-shirt with one word that describes
yourself.
Strive to have a
positive self-image, self-confidence, self-esteem, and love yourself. Practice
self-compassion, self-control, self-forgiveness, and self-care. Learn to be
humble and welcome others. Be true to yourself, be grateful, and make
compliments to yourself. Do not feel defeated and a failure.
Do not listen to
your bad comments from your self-talk. Learn how to speak to yourself with
confidence, kindness, and with self-love. Make a bracelet with one word that

animal that depicts your inner strength. Once you know your spirit animal of
inner strength, remember to adapt and to recover like your spirit animal.
Get to know
yourself and let yourself to be happy. Do not let anyone take away your

negativity. Also, avoid controlling, manipulative, and distrustful individuals
who cause more harm to your mental wellness. Although it is impossible to avoid
negativity, practicing self-care, positivity, and self-kindness can permit you
to accept yourself. Nonetheless, I Am Just Me Because the movement is about
accepting, welcoming diversity, and respecting everyone's uniqueness.
It is a month to
celebrate and not to do stereotypes or biases. Wear your spirit animal in the
form of a necklace, bracelet, or painted on a t-shirt. Learn to practice self-awareness,
self-discipline, and self-responsibility this month. Create and I am just me
because dance or exercise routine to feel motivated. Here is a concise list of
