Carnation Flower Coloring Pages

Carnations are the birth flower for the month of January. These flowers come in pink, white, coral, red, magenta, purple, yellow, and pastel pink with white. Each carnation has a meaning and symbolizes many sentiments. Carnations can symbolize love, devotion, fascination, good luck, purity, and gratitude. However, a yellow carnation symbolizes rejection or disappointment.

Regardless of the symbolism of the carnations, these beautiful flowers need sunlight for four to six hours. Carnations can be given out for anniversaries, birthdays, Mother’s Day, funerals, and to ask forgiveness from someone. It also shows appreciation to someone, especially to a coworker. Yet, it is not recommended to give a yellow carnation to your devoted partner because of its symbolism of disappointment. However, yellow carnations can be used for asking for forgiveness to someone with a heartfelt sentiment.

Today, I was inspired by the carnation flowers and created two coloring pages of carnations. These coloring pages are free and for your personal use. One coloring page has two carnations with music notes. The second coloring page has the words, “Love” and one carnation with butterflies. Below are coloring pages, websites with gardening tips, and Happy New Year!
