World Cancer Day
Every February 4th,
you can persuade and bring an understanding to prevent and find cancer treatments. This is an International Day for knowing and learning about the advances
in cancer treatments. Also, to find the resources for living with cancer and to
give support to someone who is going through cancer treatments. World Cancer
Day was proclaimed on February 4, 2000. Currently, more people in their thirties
and their forties are getting diagnosed with diverse types of cancers.
Furthermore, more research
needs to be done to detect cancers at any age and get the necessary treatments
before the cancer advances. More people need to publicize cancer information on
social media and help fundraisers for this cause. Cancer affects children and an
orange ribbon can be used to bring awareness. Additionally, cancer survivors
and families purchase daffodils to bring hope and strength to those who
recovered from cancer. Attend events where guest speakers explain cancer
research, cancer resources, and other topics related to cancer.
As well as signing up
and participating in walkathons and jogathons for cancer research. If you are
struggling with mental health due to cancer, seek therapy, counseling, and
behavioral services. Also, take care of your mental health as a caretaker for a
cancer patient. Learn how to make protein shakes at home or purchase protein
shakes. Eat healthier, relax with music, and accompany your relatives to their medical
appointments.
World Cancer Day is a
global day to recognize cancer and end the stigma of living with cancer.
Light an orange and blue lightbulb in the front of your porch. Furthermore, participate
in a lighting ceremony or give a daffodil to a cancer survivor. Read and learn
