DIY Mini Three Piece Painting in a Frame
Three-piece paintings make a fun way to decorate your walls. Usually, a three-piece painting has a theme and the same color scheme. If you have a photo frame to add three pictures, you can make a mini three-piece painting in a frame. In today's painting tutorial, you can make a monogram and a simple painting to add to your frame. Here is the painting tutorial.
Materials:
Acrylic paint
Paintbrushes
One frame to add three pictures
Xerox paper
Photo paper (optional)
Stencil (optional)
Pencil or ballpoint pen
Glue or double-sided tape
Scissors
Instructions:
On xerox paper trace the squares and the frame with a pencil or a ballpoint pen. Then, draw the design and a letter. Dip the paintbrush in acrylic paint and begin painting your monogram. Then, paint your flowers or any other design. Wait for the paint to dry.
Cut the three painted squares with scissors. In another xerox paper trace the squares and the frame. Glue or use double-sided tape on the paintings. Make sure the squares are placed vertically or horizontally depending on your frame. After that make a copy of your paintings with photo paper.
You can add your photocopy painting to the frame. If you prefer to add the original paintings, make sure the squares line up. After that, you can hang your frame in your office, living room, or any other room. Also, clean the frame before adding your mini paintings. This project only takes about fifty minutes or less depending on your drawing or your stencil design.
