National Chamber Music Month
Since the sixteenth
century, chamber music began to be played in large rooms and palaces. This
type of classical music uses fewer instruments in its compositions. Chamber
music consists of a quartet that has four musicians playing different
instruments. For example, one of the classical composers that composed chamber
music was Joseph Haydn who composed string quartets. Yet, chamber music was
also created for other instruments in addition to string instruments.
Other classical
composers began to create chamber music for the piano and the clarinet. Now,
chamber music can be found in concert halls and online. Some famous classical
composers who made chamber music are Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms, and Felix Mendelssohn. If you listen to chamber
music, you will find it easier to study and feel relaxed. Some people find
chamber music to be so relaxing that it helps them fall asleep quicker.
Chamber music can also
be romantic which began in 1825. Classical composers such as Franz Schubert,
Robert Schumann, Felix Mendelssohn, and Claude Debussy made romantic chamber
music. Chamber music can be a learning and educational tool for children. No
matter what the reasons for listening to classical music, you will find that
