National Salad Month 2022


Now that the summer season is almost here, it is the best time to make salads. The entire month of May is dedicated to making salads. There are a variety of ways to make a nutritional salad for lunch or as a side dish. You can add protein to your salads such as chicken, hard-boiled eggs, or imitation crab meat. Add a variety of green leaves, vegetables, or fruits depending on what type of salad you want to make.


A crab meat salad is quick and easy to make. All you need is a few ingredients to make a delicious salad. Salads can help you lose weight. However, salads can also make you feel full. Here is the recipe to make this salad. 


Ingredients: 


Celery

Tomatoes

Radishes

Cucumbers

Baby Spinach 

Olives with pimientos (optional)

Imitation Crab Meat

Italian Salad Dressing or Vinaigrette


Recipe: 


Wash and rinse the baby spinach leaves. In one salad bowl, add the spinach leaves. Peel and slice the cucumbers and tomatoes. Slice the celery sticks and the radishes. Add the sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, sliced radishes, and sliced celery to the salad bowl.
