Tuna Recipe for Lunch
Every
so often I like to change the way I prepare my tuna sandwiches for lunch. Tuna
is easy and quick to toss on salads. As well as using it for crackers and
slices of bread. Yet sometimes I like to use a baguette to make my tuna
sandwich. Here is a recipe for making this tuna for a baguette or for a side
dish with vegetables.
Ingredients:
Tuna Can
Mayonnaise
Onions
Tomatoes
Chives or green
onions
Baguette
Frozen
Vegetables
Crackers
One Lemon
Preparation for
the Tuna:
Open one can of
tuna and drain it. Remove the tin can lid. Take out the tuna and put it inside
a mixing bowl. Then add mayonnaise to the tuna. Add lemon juice.
After that peel
and chop an onion. Next, add onions to the tuna. Warm a baguette. Then, slice
the baguette. On one baguette add the tuna.
Add chives. Wash
one tomato. Add slices of tomatoes on top of the tuna. Using the same tuna, you
can add vegetables with crackers. Microwave frozen vegetables or defrost the
vegetables in a pot with water.
Use a slotted or
a perforated bowl spoon to serve the vegetables especially if you defrosted
them in a pot with boiling water. Eat immediately. Save the leftover tuna and
vegetables separately in the refrigerator. Serve this meal with iced tea,
juice, or lemonade. Enjoy!
