National Gum Disease Awareness Month


Being aware of gum disease symptoms can keep your gums and heart healthy. Flossing once a day and brushing your teeth twice a day can prevent gum disease. Make sure you use fluoride toothpaste because it prevents cavities. It strengthens your teeth. Using Listerine mouth wash or any other therapeutic mouth wash is helpful to kill the bacteria that is beyond the gum line.

    This was really good timing - I was told today I have gum disease. I was so relieved to learn it's easy to fix! It's the flossing I massively need to get better at, I've never done it and it's so important. Interestingly, my hygienist told me that mouthwash is almost useless, and you shouldn't use it straight after brushing.
