How to do Meditation with Water?

When you are feeling too stressed out at work, you can meditate with water. Seeing and feeling water calms your mind as the water flows. Listening to the sound that water makes can help you feel serene. Feel the cold water and imagine the water washing away all the negativity that happened throughout the day. Feel the warm water and imagine all the positivity coming into your life.

Fill your bathtub with bath salts with essential oils or Epsom salt which will allow your mind to relax when you smell your favorite scent. Creating a restful moment for a few minutes will allow you to feel less anxious. Listening to water sounds can boost your mood, help you get a good night sleep, and reduces your blood pressure. Sitting in water or feeling the water with your feet is a great way to relax your muscles and to release everyday tension of work. Simply washing your face or your hands also produces a sense of tranquility. Here are more resources about meditating with water.

Meditating with Fruit

It is so easy to meditate with a piece of fruit. It will only take about ten or fifteen minutes to do this type of meditation. First, choose a fruit that you like or a fruit you have never tasted before. Second, make sure it is easy to peel the fruit with your hands. Third, wash the piece of fruit. After you have chosen your fruit, you can begin to meditate.

If you chose a citrus fruit such as orange, tangerine, or clementine, you can begin by smelling the citrus scent of the fruit.  Peel your fruit with your hands if it is easy to peel it. In this way, you will feel a sense of calm by peeling the fruit with your hands. You will feel the texture of the fruit and the citrus scent relaxes the mind. After you have peeled the fruit, you can savor and eat the fruit slowly without being in a rush.

In this way, you will appreciate the food that you eat. By using all your senses of touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste your mind will produce feel-good chemicals in the brain. Simply seeing the color of the fruit will open your appetite. You will be more thankful and more conscious of eating healthy. Here are more resources about meditating with fruit.

How to Accept Change Effortlessly?

Change can come suddenly. It can come slowly without being aware that something is going to happen. Also, with every change, there is a sense of fear because of the unknown results. Depending on how you respond to the changes in your life is what makes you feel stronger, at peace, and comfortable. Learning from our experiences can be a challenge, difficult, and hard to understand at times.

The changes that present themselves will make us realize that not everything stays the same and feeling miserable makes it worse. In order to accept change, one must stay in control and have fewer expectations about work, relationships, and what life presents us. Therefore, changing our mindset will help to think more clearly and to comprehend more. At first, it will be tough to let go of any pain, resentment, anger, and the questions about why this happened to you. Then, when you had some time to reflect on all the changes, you realize that those changes are what made you have the fortitude to continue achieving your goals.

Always remember to accept the changes. Let go of any emotions that might have caused you to feel worthless. Never feel sorry for yourself. Allow time to take its course and be proud of what you have accomplished. Keep yourself busy, make a list, and stay motivated.

Change doesn't have to be a negative event. Usually, change brings a new perspective on life. It can be overwhelming, difficult to adjust, and not knowing how to cope with the changes. Everything changes for the best or to teach us something about ourselves. Here are more resources about accepting change.

Turmeric Vegetable Soup with Onions

This delicious and semi-sweet vegetable soup is so easy to make. This vegetable soup only has five vegetables that provide vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.  If you have a hard time eating cauliflower or have a picky eater at home, then you will love trying out this recipe. By adding raw onions to this vegetable soup, you won’t taste or smell the cauliflower. Also, by adding turmeric, your whole family will benefit from the antioxidants and medicinal properties. Nonetheless, here is the recipe for making turmeric vegetable soup with onions.

Ingredients:

1 bag of carrots or 9 carrots
1 Cabbage
1 Cauliflower
½ of Green Bell Peppers
½ of White or Yellow Onion
Coriander
1 Lemon
2 Knorr Chicken Bouillons
1 Teaspoon of Turmeric
Salt (Optional)

Preparation:

Wash and remove the leaves of the cauliflower. Remove any dirt that is on the cauliflower. Chop the cauliflower in half and remove the cauliflower one by one. Wash and peel all nine carrots. Chop the carrots in small pieces. Wash one green bell pepper and remove the seeds of the pepper. Cut the bell pepper in half. Save the other half of the bell pepper for another recipe. Peel one white or yellow onion. Chop the onion in half. Save the other half of the onion for another recipe. Wash the cabbage and chop the cabbage in small pieces.

Next, in one pot add the cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, and green bell peppers. After that add water and two chicken bouillons. Then, add one teaspoon of turmeric.  Stir the vegetables occasionally so that the chicken bouillon and the turmeric mix with the water. While the vegetables are cooking, wash and remove the leaves of the coriander.
Add the leaves of the coriander to the vegetables that are cooking inside the pot.

Once the vegetables are ready, chop the raw onions in small pieces. Wash one lemon and cut the lemon in small slices. Pour the vegetable soup in several bowls. On the side add the lemon slices and the coriander to each bowl. On top of the vegetable soup add the raw onions. This soup serves four people.
Enjoy!

How to Avoid Burnout?

According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, " Burnout is the exhaustion of physical or emotional strength or motivation usually as a result of prolonged stress or frustration." However, there are ways to avoid burnout. First, you can meditate and use essential oils. There are many essential oils for exhaustion such as Lemon, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, and Clary Sage. Second, you can set aside some time for yourself by drinking tea, reading, or coloring adult coloring pages.

Third, you can take small breaks between work hours if your boss allows it. If you have good communication with your boss, you can take mini breaks to relax, to stretch, and to walk outside. Sometimes, adding your own diffusers in a small area at your desk can help you feel better. In addition, here is a list that will help you to avoid burnout.
  • Take care of yourself.
  • Take 20 minutes a day to relax. Turn off all electronic devices.
  • Don’t hurt people’s feelings when you are angry, frustrated, and sleep deprived.
  • Take a break and do yoga, meditate, or have DIY Spa Day.
  • Say “No” without feeling guilty.
  • Get some sleep and have healthy balanced meals.
  • Take some time to help people at work or do some volunteer work.
  • Learn to manage your time by creating a to-do list or use a planner.
  • Exercise your mind.
  • Exercise for your physical health.
  • Set aside some time to talk to your friends and family.
If you still have no interest, feel exhausted, or feel overwhelmed seek professional help. Also, changing jobs can help you feel less stressed out. A change in scenery will help you improve your mood and your overall health. Here are more resources about burnout and how to avoid burnout.

Yoga Poses for a Healthy Digestive System

There are several yoga poses that strengthen the abdominal muscles and stimulate the abdominal organs. However, it might seem like a challenge to do some of these yoga poses. One yoga pose that might be difficult to do at first is the Boat Pose. The Boat Pose stimulates the kidneys and intestines. It also makes the lower back muscles stronger.

When doing the Boat Pose make sure you concentrate on your breathing. Also, make sure you feel comfortable and you don't feel that much pain on your back.  If you do have pain on your back, you can do a Half Boat Pose. Another pose that makes your back and abdominal muscles stronger is the Peacock pose. The Peacock Pose also strengthens your legs and wrists.

The Peacock Pose is another pose where you will need to focus on your breathing. When doing this pose for the first time, you might feel a little bit of pain on your lower back. However, it takes time for the body to release any tension that had been accumulated over time. Strengthening your back muscles and stimulating your kidneys will allow the body to release toxins. Last, the Camel Pose helps to relieve your neck and back from pain.

In addition, the Camel Pose helps you to breathe better. It awakens the kidneys to function better. After doing these three yoga poses, you will feel less tension on your lower back. You will improve your digestive system. Staying hydrated, having healthy balanced meals, and doing these yoga poses will give a health boost to your digestive track. Here are more resources about these yoga poses, and other yoga poses for digestion.

A few ways to use Lime Essential oil

There are so many ways to use lime essential oil. Lime essential oil can help you feel better from toothaches. This essential oil can prevent and lighten hyperpigmentation from the skin. Smelling lime essential oil increases your appetite. Also, it can make you feel energetic. Creativity through Meditation

Meditating will open the creative side of the brain. Creativity can be accomplished by meditating in silence, listening to guided meditations, and doing walking meditation. Puzzles, word searches, and board games will allow the brain to build new skills and will enhance the region of the brain for creativity. Sometimes, watching comedies, funny movies, and videos that provoke laughter helps the brain to relax. In a similar way, reading a short inspirational story, a new book, or poetry allows the brain to escape into another world. This makes the brain to question, to explore, and to be curious.

Questioning makes the brain to solve problems and to see items from a new perspective. Another approach is by brainstorming and doodling which makes the brain to organize new ideas. Reserving a few minutes for yourself will give you time to concentrate and to be perceptive to more ideas. Writing new words, learning a new language, and writing with your opposite hand forces the brain to be open to new concepts. Last, creativity needs to be practiced so that the brain can process and learn new skills. Working on your favorite hobbies, listening to music, and exercising assist the brain to create new brain cells for creativity. Here are more resources about becoming more creative.

Dolphin Coloring Pages

Did you know that dolphins can swim more than eighteen miles an hour? These sociable and intelligent species feed on squid and fish. There are different variations of dolphins that make their own unique sound to communicate with other dolphins. Dolphins range in different colors such as dark grey, white, and pink. The Orca is the largest member of the dolphin family.

Therefore, I was inspired by these aquatic mammals and decided to create these coloring pages. All three coloring pages are hand drawn. Like always these coloring pages are free and for your personal use.  I hope you will enjoy these coloring pages as much as I had fun making these designs.
