It is World Poetry Day! Every March 21st is a day to bring awareness to reading poetry. Poetry is an incredible tool for self-expression. It is a fun way to learn new words. Additionally, poetry is often found in music, advertisements, and online.
Learning poetry at an early age builds your child's vocabulary and appreciation of this written art. Sometimes, poetry can be acted out in the form of a puppet show, dance, and paintings.
