3 Yoga Poses for Your Mood

Practicing Yoga in the morning might help lift your mood. It is recommended that Yoga should be practiced on an empty stomach, so it does not interfere with the digestive system. If you have breakfast, you must wait four hours to practice Yoga. Yoga reduces your stress levels and calms your heart including your mind. There are yoga poses that can help with your mood such as the Camel pose.

The Camel pose is done by kneeling and touching your ankles while your back is bent backwards. This pose gives you relief from back and neck pain. However, it also stretches your chest muscles and your abdominal muscles. An alternative pose is the Half Camel pose which is done with one arm touching the back of your foot and one arm is stretched up in the air. Another Yoga pose is the Cow pose.

The Cow pose is done kneeling while both hands and face are facing in the front. This pose improves your blood flow. This pose also gives your relief from back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain. But, if you want to do a challenging Yoga pose for improving your blood flow and to reduce tension from your shoulders, you can do the Rabbit pose. The Rabbit pose is done by kneeling while your head and arms touch your knees.

Several Yoga poses help improve your mood and makes you feel good about yourself. Yoga connects your body and your mind making it have a positive effect in your mood. Make sure you know your physical limits. Use rolled towels and blocks to feel comfortable while doing certain Yoga poses. Here are links for more Yoga poses for your mood.
