Symbolism of Fall & Meditation & Gratitude

Contemplation meditation can be practiced in the autumn season to make you develop self-compassion. As well as helping you with improving your self-realization and self-reflection with gratitude. Meditating with contemplation can be practiced with a journal, sitting down, or laying down. Think about what you want to let go of and what you want to change during the autumn season. Ask yourself a question and continue being in silence.

Focus on your breathing and your body posture. Visualize the autumn season. Sit or lay down for five minutes and ask yourself questions about finding balance between work and your family. Write it down in your journal and continue practicing being in silence as you feel the autumn weather. Feel the fulfillment and gratitude as you let go of self-doubt.

Sometimes meditating with contemplation can make you want to meditate with background noise in a low volume. You might want to meditate with flute music, drums, or wind chimes. Other times you might want to meditate indoors with autumn symbols in your home. Therefore, you might want to add decorative acorns, pinecones, leaves, rocks, and autumn scents. Nevertheless, you might want to meditate by holding a decorative acorn, mini pinecone, or an autumn leaf.

Holding an object can make you relax and concentrate on letting go of what is holding you back from achieving your goals. Observe the texture of the acorn, mini pinecone, or leaves. Another way to use autumn symbols is by practicing Yoga Nidra or practicing yoga poses with autumn symbols. For example, the Tree Pose and visualizing the leaves falling off the tree or the leaves changing their color. Wearing warm colors for your yoga clothing and practicing yoga outside.

Yoga Nidra can be practiced for letting go of the past and hurtful experiences. Begin with an intention or with the purpose of letting go of something as well as visualizing a new goal with optimism. Feel safe and comfortable while you are laying down and relax your entire body. If you are practicing outside, observe the autumn leaves falling from the trees, feel the autumn breeze, or see the animals play outside in your garden. Focus on your breathing and your thoughts.

If you begin feeling cold outside, use a blanket or practice Yoga Nidra inside your home. No matter how you meditate with autumn symbols, make sure you feel comfortable and release the tension that your body feels. You might feel a sense of renewal, coziness, and be able to feel inner peace by practicing outside or indoors with autumn symbols. Last, practice gratitude five minutes before you end your yoga or meditation session. Here are resources for meditating with autumn symbols.
