What to do About Summer Laziness & Summer Meditation?



The summer season might make you feel boredom, uncomfortable, and irritable. Summer laziness can occur and might make you meditate less. Disruptions in sleep, changes in your eating habits, and changes of extreme weather conditions can make you dislike the summer season. Although not everyone dislikes the summer season, it is possible to have Seasonal Affective Disorder during the hottest months of the year. Laziness can occur anytime of the year with nervousness, anxiety, and other mental distress. 


Summer laziness can also be caused by changes in one's work schedule and home routine. Being lazy can bring a positive aspect. It can permit you to be creative, take a break, and to assist in better decision-making. Often summer laziness can make you find a balance between work productivity and rest. However, having Seasonal Affective Disorder can make you feel depressed, have a change in mood, sleep issues, and changes in energy levels. 


Also having aggression because of the intensity of summer heat. Nonetheless, summer laziness can be reduced with meditation, mindfulness, Yoga, Tai Chi, or other exercises. Summer meditation can be modified by adjusting your schedule and adding self-care activities. It is necessary to have a morning routine and to vary your morning routine throughout the weekend. Overcoming laziness takes time and lots of understanding of yourself.


Laziness can occur when there is a lack of motivation. However, being distracted can also make you feel lazy. Finding the reasons for your laziness can help you feel refreshed and improve your motivation. It is also recommended to do self-discovery in addition to self-care to find your motivation, to focus, and to take shorter breaks when you feel summer laziness. If you feel summer laziness during your summer semester of college classes, look for a mentor to help you overcome your laziness.


Your mentor can do check-ins, listen to you, and provide resources to assist in feedback. Furthermore, you can have a job mentor to do check-ins and can help with time management techniques while you study for your career. Avoid negative self-talk. Practice visual meditation, Restorative Yoga, Sun Salutations, or Yoga for feeling energetic. As well as practicing with inner locks or bandhas during energetics of yoga.


Bandhas are done with physical and mental activity. It is about trapped energy and blocked energy that gets released to help you feel better. Simply contracting certain muscles and being aware of your breathing can help you to destress. It is necessary to have a yoga instructor to do the energetics of Yoga and to practice mudras with bandhas. Additionally, to explain about chakras and how to unlock the blocked energy inside the body.

Tai Chi can help you feel energetic as well because it also unlocks blocked energy. Practicing Tai Chi can also reduce summer laziness and help with concentration. Grounding stances, breathing techniques, and Tai Chi movements can release the trapped energy. Movements such as Opening the Door, The Fountain, and Parting the Clouds to reduce stress. Quigong is helpful as well to unblock energy. 


Listen to your body. If you need to sleep, get the sleep you need. Practice Tai Chi or Yoga in the morning. Although summer laziness might not be eliminated totally, it is necessary to understand your summer laziness and seek professional help.
