How to let go of Negative Emotions?

" Do not let negative emotions to steam, let the positive emotions to beam and together, these emotions should flow in a stream" -Melissa Alvarado

Sometimes, keeping your negative emotions inside makes it worse for your health. Ignoring how you feel is not the right option either. In addition, all those negative emotions build up over time making you feel sad, depressed, or miserable. Other times those negative emotions keep you awake at night and make you feel more anxious. Also, you might not even know what might be causing your feelings of anger or other negative emotions.

It can be hard to let go of all those negative emotions all at once. First, speak to someone that you trust and tell them about how you feel. Second, have a journal to write down all those negative emotions. Start writing about your frustrations, your sadness, and what is bothering you. Write down a list and see if you find a pattern for the way you feel.

Third, if you are still feeling sad, anxious, or resentment you can meditate. It is not easy to cope with negative emotions. Also, it isn't easy to put a smile on your face when you are among your coworkers, friends, and family. Meditating or any other form of meditation will help you feel less overwhelmed with your negative emotions. If you've tried everything seek professional help.
