Water Poetry, Closure, and Summer Self-Reflection

Summer self-reflection is necessary especially if you need closure from past experiences, past friendships, and past relationships. As well as helping you to relax and to manage emotions for emotional healing. Drafting poetry about water or other themes can assist you in improving your communication and practice self-expression. However, if you constantly get hurt easily, worry, or have a tough time in coping with closure; Do consult with a therapist for further support for your overall wellness. In addition, using poetry, journaling, meditation, mindfulness, or other techniques for relaxation can be practiced together for grief and closure.

Finding closure can be difficult at times especially if there was no explanation about ending the friendship or relationship. Do acknowledge it was not your fault. However, to find closure, it is essential to accept it and not make assumptions. Avoid expectations, apologies or explanations from a past relationship or friendship. Do mute, unfollow, or block them if necessary for your social and emotional wellness.

Have a list of boundaries that remind you to follow it when socializing. Another tip is to manage your emotions without denying your genuine feelings. Also, practice self-acceptance and self-understanding. Daily self-reflections through journaling and poetry can help you reduce stress and help you with the process of closure. Do your daily activities and routines without ignoring your repressed feelings.

Write your mindful experiences of water into a narrative poem, a Haiku, or another poetry form.
