Tuna Sandwich with Carrots and Pickles


Gherkin pickles have vitamin A for the immune system. Eating pickles are good for the liver and for ulcers. Also, pickles help with the digestion process. Although, it may contain too much salt if you have high blood pressure. Before including pickles to your diet, consult with your primary doctor. Here is the recipe to make this tuna sandwich with baby carrots and whole Gherkin pickles. 

Ingredients:

1 can of tuna in water
Half of an onion 
Two Celery Stalks
A few pieces of baby carrots
One or two Whole Gherkin Pickles
1 Lemon
2 or 4 Slices of Bread

First, rinse the celery stalk and chop the celery in thin slices. Next, peel off one onion and cut it in half. Chop the onions. If you have a vegetable chopper gadget, you can chop the celery and the onions together. Afterward, open one can of tuna and remove the water of the tuna. Then, mix the tuna with the celery and the onions. Add lemon juice. 

Then, you get two slices of bread and spread the tuna onto the bread. Once that is done, you can rinse a few baby carrots and add it on one side of the plate. Then, you can add one or two whole gherkin pickles on the side. This tuna recipe serves two people. Here are more resources about pickles.
