Handmade Easter Card Tutorial

Painting and making cards is a fun way to entertain kids. It also teaches them about gratitude.  Using a few materials, this card only takes about thirty minutes to make. Also, it fits inside a standard size envelope for mailing the card.  Here is the tutorial for making this handmade Easter card.

Materials:

Acrylic Paint

Paint Brushes
4 X 6 Photo Paper
Stationery Paper
Flower Stickers or Floral Stationery Paper
Scissors
Glue Stick
Egg Stencil (Optional)
Pencil

First, glue paper onto a four by six photo paper. Trim the edges with a pair of scissors. Next, glue paper on the other side of the photo paper. Second, trim the edges. Third, fold the paper in half.

After that use a stencil or draw an egg with a pencil. Then, using acrylic paint, paint the outline of the egg. Wait for the paint to dry. Fourth, paint the inside of the egg with watercolors or wet the paintbrush with acrylic paint. Once again, wait for the paint to dry. Then, paint flowers inside the egg. Wait for everything to get dry.

Fifth, cut strips of paper to make the label for the card. Cut flowers from floral stationery paper or use flower stickers. Glue the flowers or place flower stickers onto the card. Last, glue a strip of paper onto the card and write down, " Happy Easter" on the front of the card. Repeat the same steps on the back of the card.

However, paint a different design on the back of the card such as dots, circles, or any other shape. Wait for everything to dry before gluing the paper flowers or placing the stickers onto the card. Complete the card by gluing a strip of paper and writing down, " Made by and your name." After everything is glued, you can write a message inside the card. Also, this card can be made for celebrating the spring season too. Happy Easter in advance!
