To have friendships at work can be difficult and complicated at times, especially if your co-workers are insincere and pretend to be your friends during work hours. It is tough to see the signs of insincere friendships when you are collaborating with them because of job communication, commitments, and responsibilities that you might have at work. Therefore, it might be best to avoid these types of friendships at work because these friendships are unhealthy for your mental wellness.
There is nothing wrong with having friendships at work if friendships are supportive and help each other with job growth. Also, it reduces your stress and each of you feels useful at work with a kind attitude and without being mean to each other.
