DIY Flower Painted Wastebasket (Tutorial)

Are you looking for a do it yourself painting project? This flower wastebasket can be used to decorate an office, bathroom, or any other room that needs a wastebasket. This painting project can take one hour or two hours to do. Using acrylic paint, paintbrushes, and a stencil which I have provided; This painted flower wastebasket can be ready to be used after a few hours of painting it. Here are the instructions for painting this flower wastebasket.

Materials:

1  Small Wastebasket-any color

Acrylic Paint-any color
Flower Stencil
Scissors
Paint Brushes-all different sizes
Acrylic Gloss Top Coat Paint

First, print out the free flower stencil. Second, cut the circle and flower petals. Third, wash the wastebasket. Fourth, on a dry wastebasket, look for the center of the wastebasket. Paint a circle on the wastebasket using the paper circle. Fifth, paint the flower petals around the circle using the flower petals. Depending on the size of the circle, the paper flower stencil is used twice in this project. Last, paint any lines, dots, or any other design onto the big flower. After the paint dries, add acrylic topcoat paint so it doesn't wash off.

This flower wastebasket can also be used to decorate a child or teenage bedroom. It also makes a satisfactory gift. Also, it can be a part of a gift basket filled with stationery items. Nonetheless,  have fun painting your flower wastebasket. Happy Mother's Day in advance.
