Here is the tutorial for making this glitter donut necklace.
Materials:
1 or 2 Jump rings
2 Wooden donuts
Glitter nail polish
Acrylic paint- any color
Black leather cord
Cord end fold-over
1 Lobster clasp
Jewelry Pliers
Different colors of beads
Scissors
Beading string wire
1 Paintbrush
Insert one cord end fold-over into one black leather cord. Then, tie a knot. After that paint two wooden donuts on both sides with acrylic paint. Once the paint is dry, paint glitter nail polish on both sides of the wooden donut. I used antique white acrylic paint and silver glitter nail polish. Wait for the glitter to dry.
Then, use beading string wire and insert the wooden donut with a few beads. Tie several knots. After that continue adding beads and the second wooden donut. Tie several knots and trim the wire with scissors. Insert the wooden donut on one side of the black leather cord.
Add one cord end fold-over to the black cord. Tie a knot. Then, insert a jump ring to the cord end with a lobster clasp. After that, you can add another jump ring to the other cord end. Here are more resources to make your own glitter donut necklace for the summer or for any season.
