DIY Pearl Anklet

This simple anklet can be worn with a summer outfit or with a summer dress. Using one hoop earring and a leather cord, this anklet can be made in a few minutes. Anklets have been worn before the 7th Century BC. There are many ways to make anklets and it continues to make an impressive fashion statement during the summer.  Here is the tutorial for making this do it yourself pearl anklet.

Materials:

1 Hoop Earring
1 Black Leather Cord
2 jump rings
Pearls
2 Cord End fold-Over
1 Lobster clasp
Beading String Wire
Jewelry Pliers
Scissors

First, measure the leather cord around your ankle. Second, cut the leather cord. Third,  insert one cord end fold-over inside the leather cord. Fourth, repeat the same step for the second end of the cord. Fifth, add one jump ring and a lobster clasp to the cord end fold-over.

Sixth, remove the hook of the hoop earring. Seventh, insert a jump ring to the hoop earring. Last, insert beading string wire into a few pearls. Individually add the pearls one by one to the hoop earring. Trim the edges of the wire. After that, the anklet is ready to be worn. Here are more resources to make your own anklet.
