How to Overcome Loneliness in Autumn?


Overcoming loneliness in the autumn season is tough but it can be controlled by changing your thoughts. Autumn loneliness is different than summer and winter loneliness. Autumn loneliness causes anxious thoughts, doubts, and lots of stress. It makes you feel nervous and be more alert to noises at night. Loneliness in autumn makes you have more fatigue during the busy rush and anticipation for the holidays. 


The feeling of loneliness can be stopped by doing some things to change your thoughts. Loneliness can be emotional and makes you feel you have lost yourself through the process. Emotional loneliness needs all the emotions to be in a soothing status. Practice acts of kindness, do charity work or volunteer your time to keep you busy. Sometimes loneliness is caused by boredom and listening to all your emotions all at once. 


Loneliness can also occur in a social aspect. You might be surrounded by a group of friends and feel lonely. As well as grieving for someone makes you miss them and feel so empty inside. In this situation, loneliness can be overwhelming, and the feeling goes away after grieving. Spend time with everyone that you know and optimistically speak about your loved ones. 


Journaling, taking walks, and being aware of your thoughts can help you be less nervous as the seasons change. Join a club, support group, or nonprofit group to speak about your feelings and your hobbies. Find friendships where you share things in common. Love what you do in your job, and at home, and practice gratitude. Check and review your emotions to find the reasons for your loneliness. 


However, the hardest aspect of loneliness is when you remove your existence and the world. Existential loneliness is so challenging to find yourself and your purpose in life. It is an everyday struggle, but it needs to be treated. This type of loneliness can cause depression, fear, and severe anxiety if left untreated. Yet, this type of loneliness can occur to anyone who has no siblings. 


However, existential loneliness can be felt even if you do have siblings. Constant worry, no motivation, and being fearful all the time causes this type of loneliness. It is best to seek therapy and to have an emotional support system. Connect with yourself from a distinct perspective. As well as connecting yourself with nature and making connections with your friendships.

Nevertheless, loneliness can arise for many reasons in the autumn season. Take one day at a time to summarize your feelings, emotions, and your mood.
