Self-love can be tough and challenging to do. However, it is necessary to practice self-love, self-forgiveness, self-expression, and taking care of yourself. As a man it is hard to express one's emotions and to feel self-love due to childhood experiences, traumatic events, and past experiences. This brief list can help you or your partner to practice self-love. Do not feel embarrassed about being vulnerable to your partner. Appreciate yourself and practice body positivity with self-acceptance. Also, strive to make positive affirmations every week to keep you motivated. Last, make a positive connection with your partner and with others.
