Iced Tea & Egg Sandwich with Bell Peppers (National Iced Tea Month 2026)

Celebrating National Tea Month can be relaxing and help you take a break from studying, writing, or from doing daily activities. Iced tea can be refreshing and help you slow down without thinking about taking breaks. However, you can make egg sandwiches as a quick snack. In the example, one slice of bread was used to make the egg sandwich. Here is the recipe for making this simple and quick egg sandwich.

Ingredients:

One hard-boiled egg

One slice of bread

Slices of bell peppers

Parsley Flakes

Black Pepper

Mayonnaise or Mayonnaise Substitute

Salt (Optional)

Sliced Onions

Iced Tea

Recipe:

Boil one egg in a pot for ten to fifteen minutes with water. Next, slice onions and bell peppers. You can also use leftover slices of onions and cooked slices of bell peppers. Ensure the bell peppers are soft and tender. Also, cook the bell peppers in a pot with water and salt.

After that, toast a slice of bread. Add mayonnaise or mayonnaise substitute to the slice of bread. Next, peel the eggshell from the hard-boiled egg. Slice the hard-boiled egg. Then in a small bowl, add the slices of eggs with cubed slices of onions.

Add one or two spoons of mayonnaise or mayonnaise substitute and mix the eggs with the onions. Then add the slices of bell peppers to the slice of bread. Next add the eggs with the onions on top of the sliced bread. Sprinkle parsley leaves and black pepper. Serve the egg sandwich with iced tea.

This egg sandwich can also be made for breakfast using two slices of bread. Add hot tea with this egg sandwich for breakfast. However, you can also make these egg sandwiches for your next self-care day with iced tea during the summer months. Lastly, listen to music while you are making your iced tea and egg sandwiches. Nonetheless, celebrate National Tea Month throughout the month of June and enjoy the beginning of the summer season with a cup of tea.
