Social Media Day Poetry & Tips for Instapoetry & Thanks

Every year on June 30th is Social Media Day. You can write a thank you poem for Social Media Day. Think about what you like about social media and write a brief list. Draft a free verse poem. Add your finished poem to social media.

Also, you can do Instapoetry and include a picture, a video, or an emoji to your poetry social media posts. Instapoetry is brief, relatable, and can convey one or more emotions. Always reread what you wrote and ensure you like the video, picture, or emoji before posting it. Additionally, Instapoetry can be shared with others instantly and can be liked by many social media users. Do not write personal information on your Instapoetry.

Alternatively, you can write an Instapoetry for a friend and send it to them on social media. Keep the poem simple and less details of your friendship. You can tag each other on social media and read each other's poetry. As well as saying thank you to someone that has helped you on understanding social media. Write a free verse poem, a Haiku, an Acrostic, or other short poetry forms.

In the example poem, there are emojis and a grateful emotion for a social media friend. However, in the second poem example, is my attempt in writing Instapoetry. Practice making digital art or take pictures of anything you see outside. Use random words and think about what emotions you want to write about. Lastly, have an optimistic, or a memorable message in your Instapoetry.

Share your Instapoetry in your social media. Focus on writing your poetry for a friend that needs encouragement. Practice drawing digital art with random shapes and make your designs unique. Alternatively, take a break from writing and draw in segments what you want to write in your Instapoetry. Finally, share your poetry in person with someone and inspire them to practice self-expression through poetry.

Nevertheless, write how you feel with less details. In Instapoetry, you do not have to be concerned with grammar. There is no punctuation. Yet, do practice writing how you feel with self-awareness, self-reflection, and self-honesty. Here are websites with more information about Instapoetry.
