Tilapia, Asparagus, and Tofu Recipe


Tilapia is a soft fish that can be eaten for lunch or dinner. Also, this fish might help with the cardiovascular system, skeletal system, and the immune system. It is a good source of protein, magnesium, and potassium. It is easy and quick to make for the summer season or anytime throughout the year. This meal can be ready in thirty minutes or less especially if you cook the tofu and asparagus in advance. 


Tofu is a good source of fiber and protein. It makes a delicious side dish for this tilapia meal with asparagus. Asparagus might help with the cardiovascular system as well as with the immune system. Nonetheless, you and your family might like this tilapia meal with tofu and asparagus. Here is the recipe. 

 

Ingredients:

Coriander Seeds

Rosemary Leaves

Ground Garlic Powder

Onion Granulates

Ground Paprika 

Ground Chili Powder

Ground Mustard Seed

Ground Coriander

Tilapia

Extra-Virgen Olive Oil or other Cooking Oil 

One Onion

One Bell Pepper

Asparagus or One Can of Asparagus 

Soy Sauce (Optional)

Salt (Optional)

Tofu

Teriyaki Sauce

One Lemon


Recipe:


Begin by peeling and slicing one onion. Then, add cooking oil in one skillet. Add the slices of onions. Wash and slice one bell pepper. Next, add the slices of bell peppers. 


After that add coriander seeds and rosemary leaves to the onions and bell peppers. Add the rosemary leaves, coriander, mustard seed, chili powder, Paprika, garlic powder, and the onion granules to the tilapia. Lastly, add soy sauce or salt. Cook the tilapia inside the skillet with the onions and the bell peppers. Continue cooking until the tilapia is golden brown. 


Then, remove the water from the tofu and dry the tofu with paper towels. Add the same spices onto the tofu but instead of soy sauce add teriyaki sauce. Cook the tofu in the skillet with cooking oil. Turn the tofu on both sides. After that remove, remove the tofu and slice the tofu into cubes. 


Open one can of asparagus or boil asparagus in a pot with water. Once the asparagus is soft, remove it from the pot. Serve the tilapia with the tofu and with the asparagus. This meal can be served with iced tea, lemonade, or another cold beverage with slices of lemon. Save the leftovers in separate containers. 


Tilapia might be helpful for lowering your blood pressure and for managing diabetes. Asparagus, tofu, and fish is also beneficial for pregnancy.
