Baguette Sandwich with Sardines (Lunch, Dinner, or Snack Idea)
If you like to eat sardines or want to vary your sandwiches, you can make a baguette sandwich with sardines. Use leftover salad leaves and leftover mustard to make this sandwich. This sandwich can be eaten for lunch or for dinner. However, you can use one slice of bread to make it as a snack. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
One baguette
Butter (optional)
Baby Red Butter Lettuce
One can of sardines
Mayonnaise
Avocado
Dijon Mustard
Tomatoes
One Lemon
Recipe:
Slice one baguette in half. Toast the baguette on a skillet with butter. However, you can use a butter substitute. After the bread is toasted, add one spoon of mayonnaise and dijon mustard. Alternatively, you can use a mayonnaise substitute. Open one can of sardines and drain it.
Use a small plate to add the sardines. Slice one lemon and squeeze the juice. Add lemon onto the sardines. After that add the sardines onto the slice of baguette with mayonnaise and dijon mustard. Next, add baby red lettuce, slices of tomatoes, and a small portion of avocado onto the second slice of bread.
This tasty sandwich can be paired with lemonade, ice tea, or other beverages. Yet, serve this sandwich immediately and enjoy eating this sandwich. Sardines has vitamin B12 and vitamin D.
