If
you like to eat sardines or want to vary your sandwiches, you can make a
baguette sandwich with sardines. Use leftover salad leaves and leftover mustard
to make this sandwich. This sandwich can be eaten for lunch or for dinner. However,
you can use one slice of bread to make it as a snack. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
One
baguette
Butter (optional)
Baby Red Butter
Lettuce
One can of
sardines
Mayonnaise
Avocado
Dijon
Mustard
Tomatoes
One Lemon
Recipe:
Slice one
baguette in half. Toast the baguette on a skillet with butter. However, you can
use a butter substitute. After the bread is toasted, add one spoon of
mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Alternatively, you can use a mayonnaise
substitute. Open one can of sardines and drain it.
Use a small plate
to add the sardines. Slice one lemon and squeeze the juice. Add lemon onto the
sardines. After that add the sardines onto the slice of baguette with
mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Next, add baby red lettuce, slices of tomatoes,
and a small portion of avocado onto the second slice of bread.
This tasty
sandwich can be paired with lemonade, iced tea, or other beverages. Yet serve
this sandwich immediately and enjoy eating this sandwich. Sardines have vitamin
B12 and vitamin D. Nevertheless, making sandwiches with sardines can help
improve your mood, your immune system, or with anemia. Always consult with your
doctor before adding sardines to your diet.
