Self-Care Tips for the Summer



The entire month of September is dedicated to Self-Care. Self-care Awareness Month is an essential part of taking care of yourself. Creating a self-care routine throughout the seasons makes it less boring. Also, it helps you enjoy the seasons with your self-care activities.  Practice self-care in the morning, afternoon,  or night. 

The summer season is a busy time with activities that sometimes self-care gets neglected. Additionally, the summer weather makes you feel lazy. Make your self-care schedule indoors due to the heat waves. When it is not too hot outside, you can incorporate morning activities in nature. Here is a short list of self-care tips for the summer.

1. Observe and take your time to enjoy nature activities in the summer. 

2. Stay hydrated throughout the day without caffeinated and sugary drinks.  

3. Take a break from social media, e-mails, and other items for a day. 

4. Do your favorite activities that make you exercise, stay calm, and focused. 

5. Take a laughter break. 

6. Use Dead Sea Salts or Pink Himalayan Salts in your bath and pretend you are at the beach. 

7. Stay in a cool area to meditate, do crossword puzzles, or draw on paper. 

8. Make a list of what you want to change or improve in your self-care schedule. 

9. Attend free summer events or read new books. 

10. Watch new or re-run movies, tv shows, or documentaries.
