Easy Chicken Fajitas Recipe


Fajitas are so easy to make at home. It is quick and delicious to eat. This chicken recipe only uses three spices. Also, it is a basic and simple recipe for any beginner to try to cook at home. You can use flour, corn, wheat, vegan, or gluten-free tortillas. 

Corn tortillas or gluten-free tortillas can be used as a substitute for bread. Tortillas have fiber, acid folic, and fewer calories. It may help you lose weight. Nonetheless, these chicken fajitas are cooked in water and with no oil. Here is the recipe for making this meal. 

Ingredients:

Tajin classic seasoning chile with lime 

Ground paprika 

Lemon and pepper 

Salt (optional)

One packet of chicken breasts or chicken tenderloins 

One red bell pepper 

One yellow bell pepper 

One orange bell pepper 

One in a half of an onion 

One lemon 

One or two garlic cloves 

Tortillas

Preparation and Cooking Time: 

Peel one onion. Slice it in half. Save half of one onion for another recipe. Use one-half of the onion and slice it. Then wash and slice the bell peppers. Next, in one skillet add sliced onions and bell peppers. 

Remove the chicken from the package and rinse the chicken. Remove the fat or veins of the chicken breasts. Slice the chicken breasts at a long angle. After that add the spices. Add the chicken and the garlic to the skillet. 

If you are using chicken tenderloins, there is no need to slice them. Add water and cook everything in the skillet. Once the water evaporates, add lemon juice. Next, serve the chicken with tortillas. This chicken recipe is enough for one or three people. 

You can add guacamole, salsa, or sour cream on the side. However, this chicken recipe tastes good on its own especially if you can not eat spicy food. Also, you can add salt which is optional.
