Balancing your self-esteem is a perplexing task to do as well as being assertive with your communication with others. Being assertive allows you to be self-confident, to have boundaries, and to be direct without hurting others. Assertiveness is a skill that helps you to be honest while communicating with others and not dominating. There are many levels of self-esteem, and each self-esteem is influenced by genetics, thoughts, abilities, social status, disabilities, and experiences. Yet, self-esteem can be boosted with yoga or another form of mental and physical exercise.

Practicing yoga makes you pay attention to your emotions, breathing, and connecting your mind with your body to improve your thoughts towards yourself. Yoga can help you improve your self-esteem and your self-confidence. As well as practicing assertiveness by using positive statements, focusing on your postures, and practicing gratitude. Some yoga poses such as the Boat pose, Half Moon pose, Camel pose, High Lunge pose, Low Lunge pose, Tree pose, and the Triangle pose can help build your self-confidence. Similarly, you can build your self-esteem and take care of yourself.

Practice yoga for ten to thirty minutes every day. Challenge yourself to do advanced yoga poses safely and know your physical limitations. Building authentic self-esteem makes you recognize, accept, and strengthen your self-assurance. It permits you to believe in yourself and motivates you to continue achieving. As well as overcoming obstacles while focusing and thinking with positivity.

Try yoga poses that you have never done even if you feel a little bit uncomfortable. Celebrate your achievements of doing difficult yoga poses such as the Crow pose, Scorpion pose, Firefly pose, Compass pose, Dancer pose, and the Frog pose.
