Organize, Prepare, and Write for December (Blogmas 2024)
Blogmas, Managing Time, and Blog Topics:
Writing in December can be an exciting experience, and it can be tough to write every day for thirty-one days. However, you can write for twelve days for Blogmas and still prepare for the holidays. It is recommended to prepare your topics ahead of time when it comes to blogging in December. Yet, depending on how you manage your time, it is possible to participate in this writing challenge for thirty-one days. It can be fun, interesting, and a self-reflective month for you to write.
Sometimes you can write for twenty-four days or for thirty days before New Year's Eve. No matter how many days you spend on writing throughout the entire month; Always think about what your readers want to read or what they might want to know more about. Often writing about topics that you are curious about can make an excellent blog post. Besides taking your time to relax and to practice writing new topics, it is helpful to find and make your blog images. You might want to learn more about a topic that you have been wanting to update with current information.
The winter season makes me be more self-reflective and have more awareness of myself. It can also feel like a lonely season for me especially during the holidays and with my family. Nonetheless, finding time to write and to connect with other bloggers can also be done during this time. Writing about any topic and liking what you write is necessary for a successful blog post. Additionally, adding guest posts can also provide current content and can provide your readers with innovative ideas regarding the topic.
Blog Tips, Blog Feedback, and Keep Practicing:
The more you write and practice your writing, you can feel grateful and joyful about helping others through your blog. I find it helpful to write your blog posts ahead of time. Another tip is to write down your blog ideas or blog topics as soon as you can. Sometimes, you can be cooking your holiday meals or washing dishes and then an idea comes to mind for a blog post. Other times you might wake up in the morning with a blog topic before going to work or to school.
Therefore, it is recommended to have a notebook or a journal ready with a pen to write down your blog topics. Selecting blog topics can be tough and you might want to ask your partner or friend about their suggestions for writing. Asking for feedback can be challenging as well as collaborating in guest blog posts. Make sure you have enough time to add guest posts, guest post collaborations, and your blog topics. Review your feedback and review your blog comments for writing suggestions.
Prepare, organize, and write in a comfortable sitting position or while laying down. Look for pictures you have taken with your camera or look for free pictures online. Give credit for the pictures that you find online. Decide on several pictures before selecting one or two pictures for your blog. Nonetheless, you can also create artwork with paint, hand drawn drawings, or make digital artwork.
Other times adding videos can also be helpful and can make your blog posts exciting to read. Furthermore, give credit for the videos you want to share on your blog especially if the video is not yours. Be aware and comfortable with your thoughts and put them into writing. Carefully consider what you want to share with your readers. Be respectful and write with positivity when you write blog comments or feedback.
Blog Ideas and Conclusion:
Enjoy your time writing and organizing your blog topics. Love what you write and what you create for your blog. Use sticky notes, bookmarks, or write your ideas in two or three columns. For example, think about your selected topic with one word and try to expand it with more words. Make sure you use a dictionary or a thesaurus book to help you get ideas for your writing.
It is recommended to use headers when you write your blog posts. However, some blog writers prefer writing in an essay style. Keep in mind that your writing style will continue changing and your use of words might change throughout your writing process. It is best to write in a style you are comfortable with. Make sure your writing style is clear, concise, and informative.
For this month, I am going to try to use a calendar and reminders to help me feel motivated to write. I will write about winter, sleep, meditation, national days, national months, and other topics I am curious about. Besides adding a few coloring pages for Christmas. Nevertheless, write when you are awake and not tired. Similarly, do not write when you are angry or sick.
Blogging in December for me can be difficult because of taking care of my family and finding a balance between family time and writing. Also, being in the process of a new career change and receiving certifications has been extremely joyful for me. Getting certified in a new career has helped me feel more self-confident and fulfill my dreams of working in healthcare. However, I am looking forward to blogging and participating in Blogmas this year. Here are websites with more blogging suggestions for writing in December.
